For more than 50 years, Lewisville has been home — not just a place on a map, but a community I deeply love. That love naturally grew into a calling to serve.
Throughout the years, whenever there was a need, I stepped forward. That commitment has allowed me the privilege of serving our city in a variety of public service roles — always guided by a desire to strengthen the community that has given so much to me and my family.
I’ve watched my own family grow up as proud Fighting Farmers and go on to build lives of purpose and impact. That journey has given me perspective. It has given me wisdom. And most importantly, it has given me heart.
When service is rooted in love, you don’t offer half-measures — you give your very best.
And that is exactly what I am committed to giving Lewisville.
About Ronni Cade
Hello! My name is Ronni Cade. My love affair with the city of Lewisville, Texas began January 1971, when my family moved during the middle of my 3rd grade year. After attending Lewisville High School—Go Fighting Farmers class of 1980—I knew that my heart, and my address, would remain in the city I had grown to love.
I am fortunate that the love of my life, Terry Cade, included this clause in our vows over 40 plus years ago. Our union made me the mother of two wonderful children, gifted me a fantastic son-in-law, and gave me the honor of being called “Nonni” by 2 of the most precious grandbabies ever!
(I’ll post a bunch of pics soon! #GrandmaBrag)
I have not only remained steadfast in my vow to hold true to the City of Lewisville, TX as a resident for over 50 years, I have invested in the City of Lewisville as a business owner since 1997. Though I have enjoyed the connections I have created in the business world, I have never experienced a greater joy than when I am able to be of service. My desire to serve, and compulsion to fill the gap where there is a need, can be directly attributed to my Christian values. I believe that I was given the gift of advocacy—that it is more than a skill set.
When our family was blessed with a son with Asperger’s, I knew that I had to intercede not only for my family, but for families in my community and beyond. My community advocacy work started in 1988 tackling issues that created equity for the disabled.
I am particularly proud to be one of the founders of the Circle of Friends in the Lewisville Independent School District. This organization is a school sponsored social club where the goal is to help to form friendships between students with special needs and their peers.

I do so armed with the experience of my past, the commitment to being the solution, and a genuine passion for eliciting the best out of people.
Experience
My experience gives me the ability to rely on past knowledge and the insight that makes it possible for me to make wise decisions for the future of Lewisville from day one; it allows me to be a benefit to all of Lewisville, straight out of the gate.
